Valley Technical Sales is the authorized representative for Dresser-Rand Steam Turbines for Southern NY & Northern NJ
Single Stage Steam Turbines
Dresser-Rand single-stage steam turbines have been a fixture in most process industries for nearly a century, providing clients with economical and reliable mechanical drives for water and oil pumps, fans, compressors and generators. For many years our engineering staff has worked closely with the oil and gas industry to meet the strict standards of API 611 and 612.
Multi Stage Steam Turbines
Proven reliability and high efficiency make Dresser-Rand mechanical drive, multi-stage steam turbines vital partners with the process industries. High feedstock and energy conversion costs demand that steam turbine efficiency be as much a consideration as reliability. Dresser-Rand multi-stage steam turbines provide a variety of mechanical and power drive solutions for many industries

Gimpel Valves
In April 2007, Dresser-Rand acquired the Gimpel line of valves. Gimpel started producing valves in 1948. Since then they have expanded their original steam design used by the nation's turbine suppliers to include safe, reliable emergency shut-down and control valves for marine applications (aircraft and submarines), and for the power and the oil and gas industries.
Steam turbine protection valves are part of the overall rotating equipment protection system and include trip, trip throttle and non-return valves. Steam turbine protection valves prevent damage to rotating equipment that could be caused by an emergency operating condition, or in the worst case, catastrophic destruction because of overspeed.
